responsibilities:
product inspectionsfollow-up
-conduct independent qa inspections in different china areas
-inspect materials,accessories,parts,componentsproducts for color,measurements,labelsoverall quality
-make judgment on acceptancerejection of marginal quality cases
-prepare,consolidate,file audit reports
-provide technical advice to factories to solve productionquality problems
-specify timeframe for factories to implement improvements
sample inspections
-inspect samples (sub-assembly product samples,pilot-run samples or customers’samples) including materials,accessories,parts,components etc.
production control
-communicate customers’quality requirements to factories
-provide advice / make judgment of whether the machinery could fulfill the production needsmanufacture quality products
-check if materials used for bulk production are of acceptable quality
-anticipate quality issues that may arise in the manufacturing process
-identifyprovide solutions on productionmanufacturing problems that might have impact on delivery/ or product quality
requirement:
-degree/diploma in textile or garment technology
-at least 4 years in quality assurancequality control area with apparel buying office/agent or trader
-recognize the importance of meeting quality standards to meet business objectivesbrand requirements
-a team player who can give full effort to meeting brand’s quality standard
-listen to othersis receptive to their ideasperspectives
-open to ask questions to obtain needed informationflexible to coordinate among relevant parties to resolve -problem issues
-refer problems that cannot be addressed to the appropriate resources in a timely manner
-recognize importance of business relationshipshow they influence outcomes
-good time management ss to allow sufficient time to complete tasks to meet assigned deadlines
-good energy level to adapt to travel mobility
